The lakes of Stora Lee
After an extremely successful expedition last year we are repeating a similar voyage again.
A tour of the remote lakes of Stora Lee on the Sweden/Norway border in open canoes is an unforgettable experience. This is a sublimely peaceful area, abundant in wildlife including moose, deer, lynx and wolf!
The tent-based expedition is self-sufficient and steers away from the small pockets of civilization to provide the best of the wilderness. Meals are usually cooked on an open fire and the tranquil journey provides the opportunity to learn bush-craft and back-country skills. This is a real get back to nature. The expedition is limited to a group of 8.
This next season the tour will include the western areas of the lake to include Norway.
Prior open boat skills are not required but there is a necessity to be able to swim!
Date: Now in the 5th year, we are offering several expeditions for next season.
We have a few places available on May, June and August departures. Transfers are from Gothenburg airport.
